Dar Al-Arqam, for over 15 years, has been a distinguished educational hub, offering a wide array of top-tier Islamic courses to thousands of students for FREE. Our aspiration, however, has always been to transcend beyond academic boundaries and evolve into a mosque and community centre, serving the community in a multitude of ways.

THE LAST 12 MONTHS AT A GLANCE

Alhamdulillah, thanks to your generous donations last year, we were able to acquire a new two-story property, to meet growing demands of running more Islamic classes and prayers concurrently. However, the property was in need of immediate and major renovations.

In the past 12 months, we have achieved significant milestones:

  • Completed Phase 1 of renovations which includes prayer, ablution, and classroom facilities for male worshippers and students.

  • Finished Phase 2 of renovations, which provides equivalent worship and educational spaces for female worshippers and students.

  • Established the 5 daily prayers. This is in addition to Tarawih & Jumu’ah services that are available to both men and women. The prayer services alone attract over 300 worshippers every week.

  • Launched community-oriented initiatives including a children's playgroup.

  • Delivered over 40 Islamic courses to hundreds of students for free.

  • Maintained an online learning platform, featuring over 850 hours of Islamic content, serving over 5,500 students globally for free. Additionally, our YouTube channel, with 250+ videos, has garnered over 280,000 views. That’s about 29,000 hours of watch time!

UPCOMING YEAR

This past year, we faced an overabundance of unanticipated challenges and hurdles due to extensive renovation works, which occupied an overwhelming portion of our attention and resources.  

Having largely surmounted these renovation challenges, we are now eager to shift our focus back onto increasing and enhancing our services —especially our Community services— and aim to accomplish even more in the coming year!

And he said: When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), knowledge that benefits, and a virtuous descendant who prays for him.
